Probably the last bastion of a healthy lunch in Reading. Where else can you get a 'make-your-own' salad with kale, spinach, avocado, and carrots? Hot food too and excellent soups. However, since they stopped weighing containers, you can't predict your cost in advance. The same container is $7 one day and $13 the next. Lunch Lottery! Some people don't like that at all.

Food was amazing. Service was amazing very great place to eat. buffet is awesome. Don’t know where you can get a breakfast and lunch together and seven dollars a pound is very cheap. highly recommended. if you complain about the price, it’s because you are a cheap person I spend way more for less food everywhere else. everything had perfect flavor shout out to whoever cooked

The 6th Street Deli is new and they are just starting so there are a few limited things, such as a larger variety of items in the buffet and a menu, but there is so much potential and its location is extremely convenient. I Love the fact that they have this split of a Cafe area/bakery up front and center and a Cafeteria further inside the store. The cafe area feels cozy, I really enjoy the lighting in this area. Personally, if they would stay with this type of lighting throughout the store, I'd think it would give into that cozy esthetic. The two different lightings that separate the Cafe area and the Cafeteria area just seems a bit odd, but that's a minor detail, and with time I'm sure they'll adjust however they may see fit. Cuban Espresso is delicious. Regular coffee and decaf are put in self-serve containers, your common coffee press to serve kegs. The staff makes iced coffee and other items. In the Cafe, you can also ask for food items like a Cuban sandwich or other sandwich items, toasted with your choice of protein and cheese. I had the Honey turkey and Provolone toasted with Lettuce and Mayo-ketchup (I believe it had garlic mixed in it). I think that item was 6 and some change. Not bad, I felt satiated. The variety of desserts in the front is pleasant to the eye and gives this kinda bakery-esque feel to the cafe, I think it looks great and appetizing. I ended up trying a sugar cookie, and bought a baggie of Tate chocolate chip thin Cookies Clever, haha. Further into the Store is a Buffet, and while the items are a bit limited, they seem to switch up the dishes, so there won't be a continuous stream of the same dishes all the time. It's not bad either,Ii feel it being made with care. Again, I also understand that they are just starting, and with time this area will expand. The buffet area is pretty big, so I'm certain that they have a few more things in mind. They charge by the Pound. About 7 dollars and some change per pound of food in the buffet section. The type of items in your plate/to-go container, doesn't seem to matter There is also a seated area to enjoy the food if you're dining in that is toward the back of the store. I believe they have a catering service available and they allow renting space for parties and events. While the staff mentioned possibilities of certain things, ultimately I'll leave it up to them to disclose any potential directions they may choose to take on their business ventures. I believe the store is open from 7am-5pm Monday - Friday, but I'm not too sure All in all, this place is convenient, comfy, and has the potential to gain alot of traction due to its location and its services. Cheers!
